Hard Kaur has sung this Ganpati aarti by infusing her rocking rapping, making it all modern yet devotional.

2. Deva Shree Ganesha – Agneepath

This 2012 remake of 1990 film has a catchy devotional song sung in praise of Lord Ganesha. Filmed on Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, the song is sung by singer Ajay Gogavale. The repetitive chants at the end of the song are truly mesmerizing.

This lively number from Shah Rukh Khan’s Don: The Chase Begins showcases the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in all its grandeur and magnificance. The song is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and is written by Javed Akhtar and sung by Shankar Mahadevan.

4. Shree Ganeshay Dheemahi – Virrudh

This beautiful, soul-stirring song in praise of the elephant God is sung by Shankar Mahadevan, from the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer “Virrudh”. Listen to it and you will feel the positive vibes surrounding you.

5. Sindoor Lal Chadayo – Vaastav

This inspirational Ganesh aarti played towards the pre-climax of Sanjay Dutt-starrer Vaastav also marked the downfall of the criminals in the film, keeping with the Vighnaharta’s principle of victory over evil. The beautiful track which has a Marathi flavour to it, and is composed by Jatin-Lalit and sung by Ravindra Sathe.
