From Shah Rukh Khan to Paulo Coelho, With Love

Paulo Coelho, the famous Brazilian lyricist and novelist and recipient of numerous international awards, some 2 months ago spoke highly of Shah Rukh Khan’s 2010 movie My Name is Khan.

The author of several popular books such as The Alchemist, Brida, Adultery and Eleven Minutes praised the film on twitter.

My Name is Khan also featured Kajol and was directed by Karan Johar addresses the global issue of discrimination and intolerance towards a race of people and linking them to the evils of terrorism

My Name is Khan was jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment. As a sweet and a wonderful gesture, Shah Rukh Khan sent the famous author a collection of his films. So, right from period drama film Asoka to Chak De! India, Ra One to Om Shanti Om, Swades to Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna, Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan sent his films to Paulo Coelho to introduce the celebrated author to the world of Hindi films. Mr Coelho tweeted from Geneva, along with an image, which shows DVDs of Shah Rukh’s films…

The ‘King of Romance’, also took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to ask his fans and followers to help Mr Coelho make the right choice.
