The Biggest Let Down in 2015 with Bollywood Movies

2015 is almost over and there is no more upcoming Bollywood movies to be released in this year. I don’t know why, but 2015 wasn’t great for expectations. Whenever I expected a movie that would be great, it turned out to be a failure (according to me).

So, here are the movies that I had expectations with but they didn’t match them.

Do tell us which movies did you feel should be on top but they didn’t turn out to be well enough.

1. Dilwale

 Dilwale

I was totally thrilled when I saw Kajol and Shah Rukh return together on-screen after such a long time. But the result was unexpected. The movie didn’t do well, although it’s still in theaters, it may have made profits still it was the biggest let down for me.

2. Bombay Velvet

The stage was perfect – Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar (full role debut) and it was directed by none other than Anurag Kashyap.

3. Jazbaa

The comeback of Aish. She was brilliant and what a transformation, I loved her role, but somehow the movie didn’t click with me. And what was with the greenish haze in the whole movie? Was it an Instagram filter?

4. Shaandaar

I love Alia and Shahid, but the movie was pathetic, it was dumb it was again a big disappointment for me. Shahid’s cute sister was the only thing that I loved about the movie. Plus her size, plus her cute smile, plus her daring scene towards the end. Two songs that I still remember is ‘Shaam Shaandaar’ and ‘Gulabo’ (it’s still my favorite.) Better luck next time Alia and Shahid.

5. Hamari Adhuri Kahani

A love story that had no love. Fro me, Emraan, Vidya let me down. I had high hopes with Rajkumar Rao, but he too disappointed me. Anyways the kahani was terrible and the plot didn’t click at all.

6. Dil Dhadakne Do

It was a love-hate relationship for me with this movie. Somewhere it went good, somewhere down below and then everything was happening on the cruise. Anil Kapoor made me giggle, Ranveer was super duper and Anushka looked sexy. Something was missing.

7. Singh is Bling

Akshay is a versatile actor, his comic timing is fabulous, his energy is fantastic. Other than Akshay everything in the movie was a big failure for me. The story, the fights and all the drama was useless.

That’s it. It’s over to you, did you got disappointed by any of the movies above or any other movie in 2015? Do tell us in the comment section below.
